As businesses are migrating from the traditional PABX model to a VoIP solution, CHW Consulting has the experience to design and manage their installation and the transition from the existing system to the new VoIP system.
Prior to upgrading from a traditional PABX to VoIP, there needs to be an audit of the network and infrastructure to support VoIP. Depending on the Client’s network requirements, recommendations may include the following:
- 1GB Network Port (shared voice and data)
- Power over Ethernet (PoE) for each network ports
- Quality of service capability for voice traffic
- UPS infrastructure for edge switching
- Review of data links where VoIP will be used in multiple sites

Data Centres are generally built with stringent conditions to ensure high availability, system redundancy and protection from failure.
CHW Consulting is continually involved with projects to review, refurbish and design new Data Centres, Server Rooms and other ICT infrastructure. We work with clients to make sure room designs support their strategies for disaster recovery, business continuity, IT service delivery and maintenance.
