It's a 3D world, and CHW Consulting has engineered a number of 3D vision systems, ranging from flat screen to fully immersive curved screens incorporating the latest active technologies.
The 3D system at Melbourne University's Gypsum Theatre utilises multiple projectors with image blending on a curved wall, wrapping the content around the viewer. It is the first Full High Definition (1080p) 3D system in any Australia educational institution.

Monash University, Victorian College of Pharmacy engaged CHW to design a Virtual Reality system.
Making use of three 16:9 projectors, special content is produced to span the 15m wide screen, allowing pharmacy students to simulate real life scenarios. The system also has three heads-up displays on large LCD screens which fold out from the ceiling.

Videoconferencing systems and infrastructure are becoming more and more prevalent, not only in commercial installations but in educational institutions too. A high percentage of communication is non-verbal, so users want to be able to see as well as hear the people they are communicating with.
CHW Consulting has designed and managed over 200 integrated Videoconferencing systems for Commercial installations as well as Justice, Health and Education. These range from simple one camera, one screen scenarios to multiple pan-tilt-zoon (PTZ) cameras and multiple screen high definition systems with integrated control systems which provide a high level of control and customization.

Over the past 4 years, CHW Consulting has undertaken numerous designs for innovative Collaborative Learning Spaces. These teaching environments allow lecturers to interact with students more than in traditional lecture theatres. New Pedagogy requirements have seen the emergence of this new style of classrooms to encourage the quick and easy sharing of information within the class.
Collaborative Learning Spaces are proving very popular in universities and CHW has designed systems for The University of Melbourne (Chemistry and Engineering LABS), RMIT University and Victoria University.
