Chief Justice’s Conference Room

CHW Consulting recently completed the Chief Justice’s Conference Room for the Family Court of Australia. The design involved the integration of audio and videoconferencing systems together with motorised display lifters and a room control system which interfaces with the lighting system.
The layout of the room, which is long with a low ceiling, made acceptable sight lines to a single projection difficult. Secondary LCD displays which can be deployed independently of the projection system were installed for attendees sitting further away from the screen.
The space was designed so it could be used for conferences and meetings as well as private functions. All furniture is removable and no audiovisual equipment is seen or encroaches on the space during functions.
