New Royal Children’s Hospital

The ICT component is the largest of any current Hospital project in Victoria.
Our consulting role included the preparation of the technical brief for voice and data systems integration, telemedicine, multimedia and communications infrastructure. CHW prepared the full network design which included the most advanced data centre technology available, VoIP telephony, asset tracking systems and an extensive wireless network for clinical and patient use. Audio visual and videoconferencing systems were designed for treatment rooms, the integrated education precinct and all operating theatres. Construction of the state of the art facility is complete for hand over to the Hospital in November 2011.
The successful completion of this extensive package of technology confirms CHW Consulting’s status as one of the leading independent ICT consulting firms in Australia.
