University Collaborative Learning and 3D Spaces, VIC
Over the past 12 month CHW Consulting has undertaken
Collaborative Leaning Spaces for the University of Melbourne
(Chemistry and Engineering LABS) and is in the design and
construction phase for Victoria University and RMIT
University. In additional to the Collaborative Leaning
Spaces, CHW Consulting has also been involved with the
University of Melbourne 3D Lab and Monash University,
Victorian College of Pharmacy, Virtual Practice Environment.

Department
of Humans Services, VIC Royal
Children's Hospital Project
CHW
Consulting has been appointed as the ICT Consultant (Information &
Communications Technology) for the new Royal Children's Hospital Project
in Parkville, Victoria. The ICT component is the largest of any current
Hospital project in Australia.
The role includes the provision of advice
for voice & data systems integration, telemedicine, multimedia and
communications infrastructure. The state of the art facility is
scheduled to open in 2011. This
appointment confirms CHW Consultings status as one of the leading
independent ICT consulting firms in Australia.
Multiplex
Construction, WA
Perth District Court Building- 24 Courts
CHW
Consulting is employed as the Technical Court Services Project Management
new Perth District Court Building by Multiplex Construction WA. This
involves the documentation and project management of Audio Visual
(AV), IT and PABX systems and the interface requirements between the
Security, Mechanical BMS, Lighting BMS, Kiosk Systems, and Building
Display Systems.

University of Melbourne
Dental School - 26
Teaching Spaces
CHW
Consulting was engaged by The University of Melbourne to prepare
specifications for the IT, audiovisual systems and videoconferencing
collaborative learning environments required at the School of Dental Science, Melbourne, for 26 teaching
spaces.
Further systems designed and project managed by CHW Consulting during
the relocation included new PC's, printers, faxes, copiers, VoIP
telephony and Cisco network infrastructure upgrades.

Court Technology (ICT) Specifications
CHW
Consulting was engaged by The Department of Justice, Victorian Government
Reporting Service (VGRS) to update their standard ICT Specification.
The jurisdictions that VGRS service include the Supreme, County
and Magistrates' Courts.
The specification incorporated court functionality, schematic drawings,
floor plans and cabling specifications, for Audio Visual and Videoconferencing
technologies, integrated with recording and transcription systems.

Women's Hospital ProjectInformation

Consulting are responsible for the systems design and coordination
for Information & Communications Technology, for the Royal Women's
Hospital Project.
The consultation encompasses the development of specifications,
from initial functional briefs and conceptual design, to high level
systems specifications, for LAN / WAN infrastructure, telephony
(PABX / VoIP), Storage Area Network (SAN), Audio Visual (AV) and
Video Conferencing (VC).

Court of AustraliaIntegrated
AV & Video Conferencing Systems

Consulting has an ongoing role with the Federal Court to provide
consultancy advice, design documentation and project management
for fixed video conference systems in Melbourne and Sydney.
The systems included sound reinforcement, audio recording, cameras,
video monitoring, and a fully integrated control system, providing
the simplest control interface for the user.
NSW
Telehealth Connecting
Critical Care Project
CHW
Consulting has been engaged by the NSW Health Department to conduct
a technical review of the Connecting Critical Care (CCC) Project,
and prepare technical options papers and finally provide the tender
specifications. The project seeks to enhance existing rural and
metropolitan critical care service delivery to patients by providing
additional diagnostic information to clinicians.
The project focuses on Clinical Imaging (local and remote monitoring),
Telemetry (local and remote physiological monitoring) and Interactive
Video (remote interactive monitoring).
